Leopoldo Metlicovitz

Leopoldo Metlicovitz worked as a poster artist, illustrator and stage designer. He spent most of his lifetime in Italy, where he developed his art style towards the genre of art nouveau. He was friends with famous artists like Verdi and Puccini. His work at the opera clearly influenced his work as an independent artist: the Italian opulence of his illustrations is still a magnetic eye-catcher and would bring beauty and elegance to your home. Whether as a canvas print or a poster, Metlicovitz’s artworks are impressive on every medium.
