The german - egyptian artist was born and raised in Heidelberg.
Already in her early childhood she prefered to paint than
to express herself with a spoken language.
Her first price within the art contest for students in Baden- Würtenmberg
she won as the youngest participant in 1967 with a sculpture.
Despite support from their teachers she chosed after graduation
first to take a different path and was trained as a nurse.
While working as a nurse art was again brought to the fore .
She received the offer to attend private art studies in Italy.
Two years she lived and studied in Sardinia with Francesco Santini .
She continued her art education in Germany and had numerous of
exhibitions in Cologne. She studied later at the University of Cologne in the subjects Egyptology, and Archaeology and Islamic Studies
and was as well trained over 9 years as a dancer .
With a focus on Egyptian dance she worked in many countries on stages,
later taught dance, gymnastics and painting.
And she combined the painting with the dance :
Sets and props , dance costumes with hand-painted silks and own designs ,
Fashion shows in Belgium and Germany .
During these years she has had numerous exhibitions in many
All these activities led to an oriental store
and the emergence of the
Orient houses " Ya Habibi " Event bistro and restaurant,
in which she realized the vision to bring the sensual
pleasures of the Orient styles, smells , food, music and dances,
to bring a world full of color to the people.
Her activities were interwoven with her art ,
which in turn gave impetus and
inspiration for her art works.
Since 2002 the artist lives and works in Turkey , where she
Presents and teaches dance and sports.
Her art works are exposed in several exhibitions in
Alanya , Dalyan and Kusadasi.
Her artworks are published with poems of Franziska Pietsch in the book
" Seelenlandschaften "
