At Posterlounge, we’re not fans of bare walls. That’s why our mission is to inject a generous splash of colour into your everyday life with our wall art and art prints. With the utmost attention to detail, we breathe new life into classic pieces by Monet, Klimt or Van Gogh. Likewise, we provide a platform for contemporary artists and photographers to sell their art without the need for complex marketing strategies – allowing them more time for the creative process.

Founded in 2003
Starting life as a decorating company, Posterlounge GmbH was founded in 2003. Since then, the company has been run by its three founders, Falk Teßmer, Florian Teßmer and Mandy Reinmuth as a family business.

Thanks to our terrific team, a constant stream of new ideas and a sophisticated corporate concept, we are steadily growing at a rate of up to 100 per cent a year. This is something that we are particularly proud of.

Our community of 10,000 artists is our greatest asset. Their artwork ranging from photography and painting to illustration caters to every customer’s individual taste.

+ 100,000 Designs
With more than 100,000 designs, Posterlounge has a wide selection of wall art and art prints. The great variety of sizes and materials allows maximum flexibility in wall decoration.

In-house production
Our in-house production site enables us to meet the quality standards we have set ourselves and, most importantly, all of our customers’ needs. Regular quality controls and one-to-one communication across our teams ensure that these standards are kept high.

International Marketplaces
Shortly after having successfully established ourselves in the German market, we ventured into international territory with our English shop. As of 2017, we launched additional shops in European markets such as France, Spain, Italy and Sweden.

Thus, we very much appreciate our team’s commitment. Flat hierarchies translate into direct communication and promoting the professional advancement of every individual in the company. Shared lunch breaks and regular team events enhance collegial cooperation, also extending beyond one’s own responsibilities. Our production and office facilities cover around 6,700 square metres and are located in the up-and-coming Schönefeld district, in the north-east of the city of Leipzig.
