The Norwegian-Danish painter Peder Severin Krøyer was an artist of the 19th century. He became famous for his portrait and landscape paintings of impressionist open-air painting. His works are an expression of a carefree artist’s life full of walks on the beach, romantic evenings in the moonlight and exuberant parties – not least in the Danish artists’ colony of Skagen. With his paintings, which look particularly present on canvas, a carefree, beautiful lightness enters your four walls.
